Take it to the Bank

16 10 2010

There are a few games this weekend that scream LOCK to me.

The first line that jumped off the page at me was the Sunday Night Game this weekend.  Indianapolis Colts take on the Washignton Redskins, in DC.  The Colts are favored by 3.5 points, it opened at 2.5 which would’ve been gold, but it’s still LOCK CITY at 3.5.  The Colts are coming off a tough loss and on a bounceback game on the national stage I expect Peyton to go off.  The Skins defense sucks, and their secondary may be the weakest part.  Expect Austin Collie to emerge on the national stage.  Take the Colts to the Bank son.

Send the hatred my way but the Falcons cover this weekend as road dogs against the Philadelphia Eagles.  Take the Falcons +3 to the bank.  Eagles defense is suceptible to the running game and the passing game with the opposing TE’s.  Atlanta is strong to very strong at both of these.  The Falcons will control the clock with the running game of Michael Turner and Jason Snelling.  Broderick Bunkley will miss the game due to an albow injury.  And oh yeah the Falcons have this pretty good TE by the name of Tony Gonzalez, so look for him to have a good game.  The biggest weakness the Eagles face all weekend will be on Kevin Kolb’s blind side.  Jason Peters and his torn labia will be on the sidelines and unproven awkward goof of a LT King Dunlap will be matched against DE John Abraham, look for Abraham to have a huge day.

Big Ben Rapliesberger is back this weekend against the pathetic Cleveland Browns.  I usually shy away from lines as big as this in the NFL, but the Steelers roll at -14.  Take it to the bank.  The Steelers defense will feast on rookie QB Colt McCoy at Heinz Field.  It will be a bloody massacre.  Offensively the Steelers are going to be hyped up upon the return of their W.T. QB.  Look for WR Mike Wallace to have a big day, Big Ben Rothliesraper loves throwing the deep ball to Wallace.  Steelers win by 20.
