Violation In Minnesota

A McDonald’s manager was recently fired and then immediately re-hired once word got out of the fire-able offense.  An assistant manager who was working the overnight shift, was fired when she let a man in at 3 am to use the bathroom.  That man was Adrian Peterson.

Typically during late night service, McDonald’s dining room and restrooms are closed to the public and they only have drive through service.  When the woman realized it was Adrian Peterson asking to use the facilities, she let him in….

“He’s a public figure… I know him better than some of the maintenance people who come in and out,” she told The Consumerist. “I never thought in a million years that decision was going to cost me my career.”

Most people would assume this move would not cost them their jobs.  We all know that celebrities & athletes get preferential treatment in life, there’s no denying it.  Maybe it means AP will come to that McDonald’s all the time, it will become his Mickey D’s.  It’s not like AP is going to hold the manager hostage and steal the cash from the register.  It wasn’t Brett Favre waving his cock around the register, it was AP, and the man needed to piss, your manager made the right move.

Of course once word got out on the firing from local media, McDonald’s immediately gave the manager back her position.  They didn’t want the public shaming they knew they would be receiving.
